I was five when my dad gifted my uncle a Yamaha RX 100 then, September 1986. A beautiful beast . A pure japenese make, assembled in India, Faridabad. Ever since then till date it has been a part of my life. From my uncle to my dad then 2 my elder bro n now on to me. Now I am a proud owner of the bike. Her beauty lies in its simple design and its monterous power is mind blowing. I did my B.E. Engineering from loni, Pravara Nagar and I was only one of the 3 owners to own this beast in college.
Since , I am a speed freak the bike has never let me down till date. It even today leaves behind the likes of cbz, pulsar 150 n 180. It reaches a top speed of 120 km/h and accelerates at a jet speed. Its sad to know about people who want mileage as well as power. But note this one thing that you cant have both at the same time. And especially not from a two stroke 99cc , 11.6 bhp engine. And hey you will not regret either once you drive her.
My bike is my first love and always will remain. In one such incident my girl friend got burnt by the silencer of my bike on the calf n thats when I told her, "Thats the sign of my love to you".
A legend can never die and no one can compete with it.Bikes will always come and go, but a true RX lover will always listen to the heart beat of the Yamaha................................
