Why its here....?

Because there has been no other bike like this one.its 97 cc and 11 bhp is a combination that has even the most experienced riders talking gleefully in high-pitched voices. Lauched in 1985, it was arguably the most fun set of two wheels you could buy for reasonable money.no wonder then, that it flew off the shelves faster than you could say ’blue smoke’ it went on to became the RX135, RXZ....and even went on to gain 14 bhp and a 5 speed gear box.But somehow the magic of the 100 was never recreated.

Fun. Solid, reliable fun. Like other stink wheels, this one came with a standard fitment no longer seen on today’s bikes-a proper power band.Along with the slim build and the

2.57/18 tyres, it made for a quick and immensely flick able package that won the hearts of the biking populace. And not just the boy racers either, mind you.You can still see the elderly gentlemen on their trusty RXs trundling home, engine sounding like it was built yesteday.Ported and over bored engine, an expansion chamber, a front disc and we r set.

On road, when signals are set on, the rx goes like a comet, the pulsars smelling its 2T smoke, pride to say that this little buzz bomb overtakes pulsar 180s , 200s . Pulsar and karizma are kids when compared to an RX.So mind pulsars and karizma don’t ever challenge RX u will end up smelling some 2T...

Though emission norms might have killed it, the rx was, is, and will forever be known as a little buzz bomb of a bike.Coming generations will listen with awe as we go on and on about this little but lethal two-stoke. The scream of an RX going down the road as we sit in our office still evokes daydreams tinged with blue haze.

YAMAHA ROCKS.
