Yamaha RX135 and also 100 are perfect bikes. Every part and feature is so perfect that the overall riding becomes very very comfortable and its hard to point oit which feature or part is good. Though the seating is a bit small for 2 people, but for a single rider.its love.
Fuel consumption is average(ofcourse a biker can afford otherwise no point buying a bike and then cribbing about its "bike instinct"). Usually it gives around 45 Kms per litre(talking about 2003 in Gujarat). Servicing should be regular and forget about the rest. Parts are not very expensive and easily avaiIable. I have experienced, the mechanics enjoying working on a Yamaha. One more advantage is the long rides. Though the bike seems small but long rides are not painful like on other bikes. I had a Yamaha RX 135 black(to be honest, before yamaha I had Suzuki Samurai, and I have also ridden Pulsar and Enfield. So this takes care of the vast experience at all categories). I was very proud of it and so were my buddies. I never felt any hitch to go in the middle of the CBZs or Pulsars of the world. The sound that it makes has been once, the heartbeat of India(remember the ad?).
Overall, a bike, every Indian biker MUST taste atleast once in his "biking lifetime."
Cheers!
