Seems to me that there is an extreme shortage of motorcycle clubs (read as gangs) in India. Let’s ditch all that implied “crime” stuff coz we have the local politicians to take care of that department! In this era of infernal mileage peddling its high time a 2-stroke club was started!
I had to cool off the other day (life in general was getting heated up!) so I went a-stalking for prey. Seems to me that almost every guy on a Pulsar nowadays thinks himself a “Street Hawk”! Needless to say, they got their wings clipped!
Bakra 1
Have just pulled up at the red light and a guy on a Pulsar 180cc clips me from the rear while trying to edge up (is every single motorist in India on a short leash?) I push up the visor and inspect the damage, thank heaven! just a nick or I would have to tapko this guy! Engine revving, wait..wait..wait…amber! Left the clutch too soon! poor guy’s bike stalls! Should’ve seen the look on his face, even the traffic cop was guffawing!
Bakra 2
Turning onto the flyover when a Shogun blasts by. Wow! Gotta respect that bike, sheer power, ‘neways I pull up on my trusty steed (modified RX135) at the next traffic light. Guy looks at me and grins! here it comes…rev rev rev! Amber! Whooaaa! Simultaneous wheelie! Man you should have seen it! every single eye was on us! Blasting through traffic at 80! DO NOT EVER TRY THIS! Neck to neck until…he turned left and I turned right! Maybe another day!
Bakra 3
Prime rib! Pulled up in a jam next to two Karizmas. A girl and two guys, all wearing Karizma jackets! Thought it was some MTV Roadie thing. Anyways I just had to pull up and ask the guy, “does that crate really move?” My! what a glare! Guess I busted the party! Time to kick butt! I tell you people, that beast is one bulky thing! It’s akin to driving an old Dodge lorry! While I slipped through traffic, our man got stuck! Too bad!
Bakra 4
Meet two guys going uphill, one on a CBZ and the other on a Pulsar! Both going a good 80! Gotta say, the new Pulsar’s front end looks kinda good. Both bikes have good power, but HOW can a 4-stroke beat a 2-stroke when it comes to sheer acceleration? Needless to say, every time they caught up, I switched to a higher gear and left em’ behind in smoke!
Bakra 5
Got beat! Really bad! Don’t EVER try to race against a Bullet! This bugger might be slow in firing up, but then it literally takes off! I was afraid I was going to bust the piston ring! Maybe if had an RD 350 or maybe if the 135 had 2 more gears!
