I purchase Yamaha saluto RX before 2 months from Raj Motors, chennai. Given the feedback given by one of their employees, I chose Saluto RX, especially keeping an eye on the Mileage aspect. But, to my surprise, the bike gave very less mileage(30 to 35 KMs / lt. petrol!). What they have promised was on ideal conditions it would give around 78 to 80 KMPL of petrol and on road mileage could be around 65 to 70 KMPL. But, it reality it is no where near to what the Yamaha company has said. This is really very bad and unexpected one. When I took this matter with service station, they are asking to wait for 5 to 6 services to complete, only then they will open the engine to check the problem! I am sure once 5 to 6 services are over, and if they find some problem(at all!) in engine, then, they would definetly make me pay for it saying such things like "It is out of warranty now!". This is really a pain for me! having spend so much with so much expectations!
So friends, please do not go for this vehicle, if you are really looking for some good decent mileage giving bike in this 110cc segment.
