I purchased this bike on April 2011 for on road price 55600 at Cochin. Now completed 4000 kms.
*Verdict:
*My verdict is this is very good bike for highway. but not that much good in city. because the pickup in first/second gears are very poor. noise is high in first/second gears.
When you are going in 5th gear in highway the feeling you get from this bike is very good.
Speed/Gear Comfort In summary:
Speeds 0 Kmph - 30 kmph - ==gears 1st - 3rd ==- engine noisy and feels uncomfortable
speeds 30 kmph - 40 kmph - 4th gear - nice noise from engine and comfort is OK.
speeds 40 kmph - 60 kmph - 5th gear - engine silent feels like bike is not running, very comfortable.
speeds above 60 kmph - upto 80 kmph - - 5th gear- engine very smooth nice noise from engine, very smooth control.
Above 80 *- not tried.
Sitting Posture:
The comfort you get while sitting in this bike is very good. The sitting posture will make you very confident.
Turning radius:
Turning radius is very good. Taking’U’ Turns are very easy.
Mileage:
I am getting a mileage of 45-48 kms on regular 100% city drive.
Once I tried in highway for 50% of drive. I got 61 kms.(50% highway 50% city)
