Hello friends. I am from Chennai. After a long research in net and on seeing the reviews, and having a test drive once, I bought this bike October 2012.till now I had done 12000 km in this bike.
The most positive thing in this bike is its effective handling in high speeds. Doing 80 kmph is very easy and the bike is in good control always.
The bike gives me a mileage of 50 km-pl, think this mileage because of the shabby roads where I have to change gears for every twenty meters.
I have reached 106 kmph with this bike along with my friend, it may go further also.if u want to reach higher speeds don’t raise to full throttle immediately, raise little by little. Else it won’t go beyond 90-95kmph.but even when I was driving over 85kmph, the mileage wasn’t less than 45kmpl and feels like driving in 40s.
Pros.very good handling, good braking, can come to top speed to rest quickly, very robust, a high speed rider, value for money, price is 63554 when I bought
Cons- kick start is very hard, mileage is very less when compared to other 125cc bikes, at low speed sound is hoarse.
The showrooms of Yamaha are worst, they charge without a heart, they don’t have proper spare parts also and they r so lazy to search and give,
The service they do is worst, and charge plenty . please don’t leave service. just to fix a engine cowl they asked 300. but I did it with a near by mechanic where he charged only 20rs.
like this thy charged for many.
After giving to a mechanic am getting mileage of 53 in worst roads. for my friend they charged 900 for free service. Finally I would like to conclude that this is the best bike to buy in 100 to 125 cc segment, even it is compatible with 150 cc bike in terms of speed n control.
Gladiator is one of the best choice to buy, and really u will like to ride it for long distances. Buy this bike without any doubt and whatever I have written is 100% true and my experience with this bike.
