Hope my small review helps you all. Bought my First Yamaha on Oct 31st from BANGALORE WHEELS, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru .Bought by paying full cash, spot delivery(Like like). Initial First 25 days, my Yamaha SZR gave only 23-25 Kmpl(was so worried, literally heart failed), spoke other folks who own many other variants from other brands in same segment 150 cc, said its common for Yamaha bikes to be giving less mileage in its first few runs.
By Dec 1, gave the bike to servicing and informed the techs, they informed if you still face issues with mileage, please get the bike, we will test it for you . after first service my SZR starting running more, it literally gave me 35-36 KMPL.
Happy Running so far, would like to get more mileage of this bike, hopefully touch 45 Kmpl, after second service.
Pros of SZR:
Superb Handling
Great height (I am 6 Ft and weigh 112 Kg) as compared to Pulsar or Apache
Stunning Looks
superior comfort for the pillion.
Good pickup (esp when you race, when signal light turns green)
Brakes ensure that u just stop when its needed(spot on)
Decent Mileage(still under test)
USP: bikes superior built and stability and great road grip with decent looks makes it winner
Cons:
I don’t have anything to say, so far(may be no engine kil switch /no pass light /no kick would be some Disadvantage).
