I am Nagaraj from Hyderabad. I purchased this bike exactly one year back. Why I purchased the bike:

Friends, the fact is THIS BIKE HAS ALL THE THINGS WHICH I MENTIONED ABOVE INCLUDING MILEAGE.
MILEAGE: Many people who purchased this bike are complaining about mileage and you know I am one the person who also got major concern about mileage. And at one stage I almost decided to sell this bike because of mileage. As I was getting 30 kmpl to 35 kmpl, I felt like I did a great mistake by purchasing this bike. ENTIRE THINGS CHANGED WHEN I DID MY 4TH SERVICING But things quickly changed when I did my 4th servicing ... MY BIKE ... REALLY MY BIKE STARTED GIVING 55 KMPL... After doing 4th serving, I began to feel I am getting more mileage, so I checked it and to my wonder I got 54 kmpl. still I am not convinced, so I decided to check mileage again with mechanic really to my amusement I got 55kmpl and from that time onwards its consistently returning the same mileage.
SO WHERE THE THINGS DOES CHANGED? The reason for increase in mileage is ’ THIS ENGINE IS HIGH PERFORMANCE DURABLE ENGINE AND IT TAKES TIME TO REALLY GET FREE’ This engine is durable engine and the parts are so standard, unlike other engines they take more time to get free, so you have to proud of this bike which got so much quality in engine. So friends never bother about mileage till 4th servicing till that time be patient and maintain the bike very well and it automatically returns very good fuel economy.
Without knowing this fact, I just abused Yamaha, but know I feel bad about that. So now I can say .... ‘YES YAMAHA !!!! ’ HANDLING:
Coming to handing.. it ROCKS … you get a feeling that you are riding a sports bike. But better upgrade bike tires with MRF so that to be more confidence on corners. The comfort on bike is very good, the weight of the body is evenly distributed to the hands and back, so you don’t feel much strained. PICK UP: This is a sports commuter bike, so you can expect unlimited fun in city but don’t expect the same fun on highways, because the limited torque is mainly spread across low and mid range for mileage and city driviablilty so obviously we cannot expect pickup at non commutable speeds like above 70kmph. This bike can cruse easily till around 65 and later on you can make progress but with less pick up. Even on 80 speeds we feel very less vibrations and that’s the sign of excellent engineering.
Overall, I am very much satisfied with the bike, because I am feeling stress free riding in the city, with lots of fun on road, very low maintenance cost and a decent mileage, the things which I don’t like about this bike is pass light is missing, digital speedometer missing, kick rod missing(but can be graded with showroom) and TVS tires needs up gradation to MRF or CEAT. This bike is not for people who wants fun on high ways because the company it self is marketing this product as ‘CITY COMMUTER’. SO I recommend this product to people who travel maximum in city, who wants mileage, good looks, instant pickup, thrilling experience while driving. Thanks for reading...
