Hi Guys I got this bike on August 18 2011, Still I have not done my first service at this time I am getting 50kmpl mileage and I am happy to say this my bike mileage is increasing gradually...! up-to 400KM I got around 40+ mileage after 500-600km suddenly increased in mileage(45+) now it crossed 800km so now I am getting 50+ mileage... Its amazing because when I gone through lot of user reviews everybody was telling that "I am getting very less mileage like only 35+ or 40+" so I am little bit confused about their reality... I think its all about how you ride the bike and u love the bike isn’t it.
I will give some tips from my own experience
Very important thing is for first 500 km don’t cross the line of 50kmph speed... and also it is necessary to maintain below 5000 Engine rpm...
From 500 to 1000km(First service) maintain below 60kmph speed but don’t cross the 5000 engine rpm..
While in a long drive every 1 hour shutdown the engine for cool-down at-least 10 min.
Last and final ride on top gears as much as possible.
