THINK WE ARE FOOLS TO CHEAT US LIKE THIS ???

Yamaha    ’’Truly Yamaha’’ Ad

-------------------------------------

Definitely a goonda mawali ad

--------------------------------------

Sorry guys. I could think of no other word to express my feelings more. It’s often very amazing how words can become very popular, and this is definitely one of those cases.

I have nothing against Yamaha products. This is only my opinion on the commercial.

About the ad:

Starring: John Abraham.

Product: Yamaha India.

The ad: My brother didn’t lend me his bike. That was when I decided that I should have a bike of my own. It should reflect me, the power and the sport. That was when I decided it should be a Yamaha. Break the rules. Yamaha.

The words may not be correct. But you get the picture, right?

Now my personal opinion is that the ad is definitely a waste of time for the company.

For the entire john Abraham fans out there, I am not against the actor , nor that do I have anything against his acting in the ad. So please read the full review before you hit that NU button.

Every time I see the ad, I get very angry. It is because of the fact the truly Yamaha ad series itself, launched just before he launch of the fazer promised us many things and then gave us nothing .

History: The truly Yamaha ad was launched before the launch of the Yamaha fazer . The company advertised that they were entering into a new phase of motoring in India, giving full respect to the company values of quality and sport. The advertisement was made very attractive by showing the Yamaha R1 in bits and pieces. All of us believed that Yamaha would bring out a quality sports bike that would at least be competitive to the karizma.

Then the company, on fine morning, launched the 125cc fazer . We all got pretty pissed off. The bike was nothing sportier than the looks which were o.k. from all the sides except the bug eye. It could be just an individual opinion, but then Yamaha, after giving such promising ads, could have given us a better product .

Now about the new ad: starring john Abraham. It is a very good ad, but very misleading . The bike featured is very sporty and with looks that can kill. Yes! You can get that in the Yamaha stable. It’s the next launch. Just wait till the company launches the next variant of the Crux.

Forget the product. The ad would have been very good for the Yamaha R1 or something that promises of the legendary quality and sporty nature of a Yamaha. John lends some character to the ad with his looks . The bike has also been featured in a very good way, and definitely the ad catches the eye .

Just like the ad for the new variant of the libero. City cruiser. I don?t know what the bike has to call it a cruiser. These series of ads are really making me think that Yamaha is really thinking that we, Indians, can be fooled into buying nothings by fake advertising .

Every person knows that the products released in India by the automobile companies are all very low in quality compared with the foreign versions . This is a known fact. But then, we don?t complain much because we know that the economy hasn’t grown enough to afford all the high class products . But then, hurting us even more by exploiting that feeling is a bit too much .

The Yamaha RX100 was legendary. Wish Yamaha would atleast give us a product like that? and then boast about the sporty nature of Yamahas.

Truly Yamaha. Truly cheating us. Truly goonda mawali ad.
