Truly a great bike, meant for serious bikers seeking the thrill as well as not over doing it.
I possess a ybx, its been 4 years now.... have used it about 30, 000 km, which spells about 200km a week, not much for a traveller, but sure swell detenue for a biker.
When I purchased it I did not have much of a choice.... the so called fuel efficient bikes and the mighty CBZ for the offering.
I was caught between fuel efficiency and performance.... the ybx proved to have equal of both worlds.
With an average fuel consumption of 50km per litre under performance condition and a thundering 11bhp of throttle responsive power below its belt, this baby suited both my pockets and my pants.
So far, it has never let me down.
Serviced at every 2000km and regular replacements of engine oil, spark plug and tyres, this bike seems to be the never say die kind on the road, may it rain or shine.
The only down side about this bike is the electricals....certain problems I faced with the electricity, bulbs fusing initially, horn went down within a year, capacitor blows off in less than 18 months.
This bike badly needs a 5th gear and disc brakes in the front.
Contemporary styling and upright sitting position are what makes it a social looking bike....but when you start the riding....you assume a different dimension.
