I bought the new released YZF R15 in october 2008, it was the most expensive bike at that time in the market but according to me it is truly a great value for money. I have used it for the last 9 years or so and driven only 19, 000 kilometres due to my travelling job I get less time to drive this 150 cc beast. My bike was the third in edition{version 1} red colour after the two colours it was launched in namely black and blue, presently it is referred to as R15 old model with the new and even more stunning model released in the market.Mine is the only sports bike with a diggi inside the seat which is a great and user friendly feature of this bike. There is also a pin for keeping the helmet as well present over there. This bike is known for it’s stylish looks and design and believe me it is well designed and tested such that it does not create any problem in indian road conditions with excellant shockers and elegant slim wheels helpful to regain driving speeds after breaking. It gives me a mileage of about 45 kilometer per litre and is a comfortable ride not only for youngsters but also for middle ageds like me as well.It has a very good battery and fuel injection syster as in cars these days and after weeks away from home I could start this beauty with a few clicks. Not too much maintenance needed and truly is a reliable vehicle as to ride even at dawn to dark nights with excellant lighting system. The wheels are of excellant design which grips the road and help me to take curvs and turns just like the moto-gp recers do. I like it’s performance in the muddy and katchchaa roads. It is great to ride on it continuously as it has a air cooling radiator fitted within with a covered silencer, essential safety feature for the pillion. I have ridden it upto 250 kilometres in a day while going to my village and never it has overheated or posed any problem what so ever, with excellant speeding powerful engine and two disc breaks at both the wheels provide great road control and furious speeds when the road is empty.It has a power of 17.5 psi which is great [ower yet in a 150cc engine format which is making it a fuel efficient mode of transport.
