I had been to this eatery for my birthday, as it was the nearest restaurant from my office that served sizzlers. I went on a Thursday evening - the place was semi-empty, and I had no issues getting a table upstairs. The service was prompt, and my order came within 10-15 minutes.
I had ordered a "Lamb Steak with Chicken and Cheese" using Pepper and Hot Garlic sauce, which had been recommended to me by the waiter (as a spicy sauce).
Here begins my woes - the dish was a complete misnomer, as there was only a single slice of cheese, and microscopic slices of chicken in it (Im not even sure if there were more than one slice!). The rest of the dish was very, very average - lamb slices burnt to a crisp, resembling toughened hide, with a sauce that would require a great stretch of imagination to be termed as spicy! I couldnt even finish my dish, as the lamb was so leathery and dry I was finding it hard not to think that I was chewing on a sun-dried piece of leather - and ultimately left it half-finished! Even the fresh lime soda that I had ordered was slightly tepid, nowhere near to being chilled as it should be... Overall, its been a night out in town that Id be trying to forget for quite sometime - in fact, had this been the first time Id ordered sizzlers, Id have been put off it for life! At this price (Rs 510 for the steak, Rs 60 for warm soda), one does expect a better fare!
