This is regarding my booking through Yatra for 7 pax against booking reference no. YH3832244.


1.During booking time Mr. Yash Vardhan confirmed me that Hotel Symphoney Palms in Havelock, He discussed few hotel details along with me and finally we agreed for this hotel. But in actual I didn’t get this hotel.


2.After getting booking done and once I made whole aishwaryasingh23ment I get a call from Miss Kimi Malhotra(before 2-3 days of my travel date) that Since Symphoney Plam hotel is not available that’s why Yatra is changing my Hotel from Symphoney Palm to Kingdom hotel and against this 5000 INR per room will be refunded. I refused for that offer and asked her that I am not comfortable with provided option. So either cancel my booking or don’t change my hotel. Miss Kim told me that she will call back to me in 10 min. after discussion with her senior. But she never responded back to me. Since she created a suspense for me that’s why I called my self to customer care one day before my departure to verify and confirm about my hotel. Customer care representative confirmed me that “Hotel Symphoney palm is booked for me and there is no change”.


3.When I reached to havlock, local Yatra representative told me that against my booking Hotel kingdom is booked, NOT THE SYMPHONY PALM. When I showed the Yatra voucher he told me that it’s as per the instruction received from Yatra operation team.(While when I contacted to Yatra customer care person again he told me that they have not given any instruction to book in Hotel Kingdom, its local representative who made changes). I am not sure who is faulty. But just because of this reason I spend hours on road along with my family members. Even yatra cab driver was also not ready to take me hotel Symphony palm. He told me that he have instructions to drop you only Hotel Kingdom, that why he will not drop me to another hotel. After that When I reached to Hotel Kingdom, I found that it was a third class and highly unhygienic cheap hotel. I cannot even think to stay in such a local hotel along with family. I tried a lot(many hours to contact Yatra customer care but didn’t get any response). Almost half day I spend to contact and get support from Yatra. It was very disappointing me that there was no support get from Yatra at that time. I could not afford to stand on road more than that along with my family. That’s why I shifted another hotel(which was in front of Hotel kingdom). In Hotel Symphony palm we get bill of 67000/- .


4.Mr. Yash Vardhan also confirmed me that I will get a separate personal vehicle(Which will be in very good condition and safe) during the whole trip and whenever its required I can use that vehicle. As per itinerary Driver details also mentioned(A/C Cab - Royal Carriage, and Charters.- Ajit – 9932085095). But I came to know that it was mentioned just to make fool to the customers. During the whole trip I get the vehicle on demand for limited use only. First I need to make call to local Yatra representative and then he used to send any available vehicle. If that was the case then why driver details mentioned in the Itinerary. Just because of this poor arrangement not only I used to wait alot but also I spend money for arranging the car & auto to visit many places. I am attaching few pics of the vehicle which local yatra representative arranged for your reference. After looking these pics pls help me to answer that from which angle you find this vehicle is safe and in good condition which don’t have even seat belts?


5.Mr. Yash also committed that I will get a photo-shoot during the whole travel plan for all the site seen as a complimentary, but I get this service only first 2 days. After that there was no one available for this photo-shoot.


6.I also asked to Mr. Yash that if I made full aishwaryasingh23ment in advance and what if I don’t get required service from Yatra. Mr. Yash assured me that an emergency contact no. will be provided to me, so for any kind of help I can call there and get the immediate help from Yatra. In the itinerary also a number provided to me(Emergency Contact Number: 0124-4749342Timings: 6:30am-12:30am). When I contacted there most of the time get the message that “our representative is busy in another call. Please contact through email at holidayservice@yatra.com”. If I am in emergency and need immediate help then can you expect that in emergency situation a person will write an email to you? When I called at this number many times then few time I get success to have a discussion with Yatra service person. And after listening my problem either he used to put me on hold(end less hold) or he used to say that he will call back to me after 10 min. And I never get a call after that(not even in next one hour). I spend my hours of holiday time to contact with Yatra representative but could not get success to find any solution. It was really very pathetic service.


Overall my experience with Yatra was very very disappointing. Not only I wasted my money but also I lost my and my family member valuable time just to make arrangements and trying to contact to Yatra customer care numbers during the trip.


10 days back I received a call from Yatra and she was offering me some to close this matter by adjusting 30K. While still I lost >30K+ lots of my time. Suggest don’t ever go with such company.
