I booked a Superior Double room at Hotel Parc Sovereign at Tyrwhitt road in Singapore for 2 adults for 5 nights from August 18th to 23rd August 2015 through Yatra.com using Yatra SBI card. The amount Rs. 38850 was immediately deducted but the booking was not confirmed.
After the booking, I also came across very bad reviews of yatra including ones where people had to face humiliation on reaching the hotel, where they were denied of the booking....paying so much and receiving no services or satisfaction!
If this booking is not confirmed or hotel denies the booking on arrival, I would definitely never recommend yatra and hope that SBI is informed of the unreliale services of YATRA.com website so that they do not get into such partnerships of Yatra-SBI cards etc.
"Unfortunately, your booking could not be confirmed"! I called the customer service number today...after "72 hours " of making the online booking for a hotel in Singapore for 5 nights stay.
First the "concerned person is busy and will call back in half an hour".....no call for 3 hours... Second call.....Executive says refund will take 7-8 days.....! Reason why booking could not be confirmed....website is down!
...I didn’t even ask for a refund....The message on the website after the booking reads....
" Dear Customer,
Unfortunately, your booking could not be confirmed.
Reference Number - 1907154884
Your booking could not be confirmed whereas your account has been debited for Rs. 38, 855. Please note that we will try to confirm the booking offline and if not confirmed we will refund the entire amount back to your card within 72 hours.
Our customer care executive will contact you shortly. You can contact us too at emergency customer care number 09311666326 or Yatra customer care number 9555800800 (All Networks) or 1860 5000 700 and quote your Yatra Refrence number.
To prevent double booking, we recommend not booking for the same trip again till you talk to us."

It takes 72 hours to confirm that there’s no booking! Even worse it takes 7-8 days for refund!! people who trust such websites are fools....waiting and not booking another place until prices go up in all other websites....
Bloody liars....and to top it all issue an SBI Yatra card so that you can cheat people. SBI-Spicejet card was better...so such hoaxes.. bloody cheaters
