My parents were scheduled to travel down to Goa in November last year as I was looking for a Hotel to book them into.I wanted to book them into the Cidade, however the Cidade website was quoting high rates as it was peak season, started looking for Cidade options on various websites and to my surprise, Yatra was the only website offering rooms at the Cidade and that too at a much cheaper rate than what was available directly from the hotel.
Booked the room on the website, got an instant confirmation and my credit card was charged for the amount. They even called me up to confirm the authenticity of the transaction.
Next day I got a call from them again. This time they informed me that the room that I had booked was no longer available as the Hotel was sold out for that category. I asked them to cancel the transaction as the superior rooms were quite expensive. They said, they will upgrade me to a superior room and throw in a complementary breakfast for the same price. I was delighted and immediately said yes.
The hotel booking was as promised, and I would definitely book through Yatra again.
