Yatra.com a 100% poor customer support

It is to circulate & share the bad experience I have with Yatra.com.


On 15th of Sept I spoken with their CC through toll free no. 1860 5000 600 to book a Ticket to Singapore . After checking,


they told ticket is available with Air India & charge is so nd so-. They ask me to provide credit card details to take the ticket. I told them that I can’t give Credit Card details, let me know the other payment details. They told me that I can make online payment or can deposit cash in their any of the listed bank a/c.


I deposted the cash and sent them the scanned copy of the receipt. They took 1 day to issue the ticket. I was happy as I got the E ticket to my mail ID & I applied for Visa. In a couple of days I got Visa. My ticket was for 29/09/10. So on 28/09/10 I called Air India customer care to know whether any change is the departure timing. I was shocked when they told me that my ticket was cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!!


I called Yatra.com toll free no. and ask for the executive who was interacting with me. They told she left for the day. When I’m told my PNR no., thay are not able to get the details and told me such a ticket is not issued, that was cancelled. If I need the ticket they can get it if I’m making the payment!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I was totally panic as I booked hotel booking, confirmed the meeting with my clients and at the last moment, if I’m not getting the ticket, I may loss 4-5 lakhs as I was going to participate an Expo for which I paid 5 lakh...........


Again & again I called Yatra.com CC, and at last one executive told me that due to some system error that ticket got cancelled. They ll arrange another for going, and for return I have to be flexible for the date. In the mean time I called my travel agent to block the ticket. He blocked the ticket and told me that the cut off time is 3 pm. I need to take ticket b4 3pm. If a’m taking the ticket I need to pay more than what I paid for Yatra.com and Its very difficult to get back the money.. Any how by calculating the alternative cost of the show which I was not able to attend the show, I told my agent to take the ticket.


I was keep on calling Yatra CC, They are neither picking the call or putting me on hold!!!!!!!!!!!! by 5 pm I got a call from Yatra CC telling me that they got ticket to Singapore & for Return It in waiting. I ask them to send atleast that ticket. They sent me a ticket. Latter when I checked with AI CC, they told, it is simply a booking, They have not made the payemnt. Fraudly they mentioned a E ticket No also which was not correct...................


I was totally fed up.... and plans to fight with Yatra people once I back......... When I check with AI people, ticket is available, So I plans take ticket and fly in the same flight. The leagal action ll take once I back from Singapore....


By luck or badluck............... I got the ticket from Yatra.com peole itself by 8.30 pm............... Otherwise I may file a case asking for a compensation of 20-40 lakhs includes my loss in the show.... the pain I felt.....the agony I suffer................


My request to everybody who is reading it, not to take ticket any flight ticket through Yatra.com
