I booked a flight ticket with Yatra on Saturday, 13th Oct. This was booked on an emergency basis as I had to get my Dad back from Goa due to health issues. Since I was in panic mode, I mistakenly booked the ticket from Bom-Goa instead of Goa-Bom.
I called in Yatra, specifically mentioned to cancel my ticket and also asked for the charges. Thereafter, I did mention to send me a confirmation mail on the cancellation.
However, on Monday, 15th Oct I wanted an update on the status and called Yatra. It seemed that my communication regarding cancellation was interpreted wrong. I only called in for cancellation charges, thats ridiculous.
I have asked them to send me the audio record conversation between us as on Oct 13th to which they have not reverted back. A callback was committed but none received. I have sent mails to which I have not received any reply.
This is totally in-acceptable and speaks about how Yatra treats their customers. It was mere negligence on the part of Yatra team. I would never suggest anyone to book from Yatra again and henceforth will not in a chance book any ticket from them.
I hope the support team gets to know what exactly the customer has called for. Rather than doing things in a hap-hazard manner and jumping to wrong conclusions!!!
