Booked two tickets through Yatra.com online from Calicut (CCJ) to Chennai (Maa) by Kingfisher airlines, on 15 August 2010.
I received from yatra a web confirmation. One more mail giving thanking me for the booking along with the Booking ID and then another mail gifting me voucher for free flights in appreciation of my booking. I also received a mail confirmation from Citibank alerting me about a debit of Rs.13, 964 by yatra for the booking.
I went to the airport with my wife to find that there was no such booking with King Fisher. How I returned to Chennai is another story and a nightmare that I don’t want to relive.
Repeated calls to Yatra.com met with ’we are so sorry" or technical error etc. Also Rs.13964 is yet to be refunded.
Guys - never ever make a booking through yatra .com - you can never be sure your flight is booked. There is a chance that you will be kicked out at the airport and I am an example
