Customer service is good only when you book the flight, they follow up well until the payment is made. I had booked two International tickets from yatra.com, the flight between BLR-BOM got cancelled. We booked separately on spice jet. The yatra customer service was unable to work it out when we called as they could not find the booking number sent along with the confirmation email.
Well, the reason to book through a travel agent is that they are able to manage the situation and deal with airline on your behalf. This case we were just abandoned. Anyway, kingfisher told that the refund will be issued through the travel agent. I sent the booking details and confirmation email explaining what happened around early Nov. Havent got any information about the refund or how to get it. Just got an automated email giving a reference number.
Every time I call, its Manager not around...have to call sometime later story. Whats the email for ???
Lesson: Even if you have to pay a little more stick with a US travel agent for international tickets and preferably some well known firms, atleast you can talk to someone who understands and is capable of resolving the problem
