I have been booking tickets by yatra since there inception, so far
apart from price change . once you select the flight, there was no
other problem.
This time I booked a ticked. and transaction failed. nightmare.
My card was charged for the amount. but the ticked was not booked.
about 10k.
1) same time: called up yatra support.(mind it they have a STD
number and only pick phone after 30 min.and I was unfortunately on
roming that time) . finally got through. they said the money will be
refunded. and booked a ticked . by further charging my card.
2) after 5-6 days: called up. again with about a 45min STD bill. they said that it will take 20 working day.OK
3) after 25 working day: called up. this time . measured using stop
watch. it took abut 32 min . before someone came on line.they said
it will take 5-10 more days. and was not willing to listen
anything.
asked to connect to her supervisor. it again took. a good 15 min.
then someone picked the phone.(I guess they were hoping I will cut the
line).
This guy’s name was "Sanjay" . as we asked.(may be he lied.as he
lied for other things.). he made many stories. and finally said it
will be done in 2 working days. for sure.
He even said take my word. it will be done.in 2 days.
4) after 40 working days: Again I am waiting for my call to connect. and hoping some day I will get my money.
my rating: yatra is cheat. they want customers to loose patience and
stop calling . so that they can digest the money.but I guess I will
call them. till I spend whole 10k in phone bills alone.
I have a mail from then saying that the payment will be refunded.

lets see. if I can get my money from these fraudsters and cheaters.
