I would like to inform you that I had booked the hotel to pondicherry for 9th Aug 2013 and I booked it on 3rd Aug 2013 from yatra.com. I even got a confirmation voucher stating that hotel reservation has been confirmed. I made the payment online. On 9th Aug when I travelled from Bangalore to Pondy after driving for 7 hours and reached the hotel (Lotus Bay View Hotel) to my surprise the receptionist told me that there is no booking on my name and it has been cancelled.
When I called Yatra customer care they say we are sorry there was miscommunication and they are looking for alternate hotel. I waited for their call for 3 hrs but no one called me. I had to make arrangements by my self. So I would like to inform everyone don’t believe the Yatra devils. They are not at all professional.
