Want to WASTE ur MONEY & TIME: YATRA.com. HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, YATRA.COM, NO ONE TO LISTEN TO YOU..


Let me share my LIFE’S  MOST TERRIBLE experience with booking a ticket with Yatra.com and Indian Major in Online ticket booking for airlines and Holidays.


This is not an travel agency - This is open money collection site. You book a ticket money gets debited from your account and you get a message and e-mail.. Your booking is failure, ticket was not booked and money is debited from your account. WHO IN THIS WORLD CAN DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS. you take money and dont give ticket and then take forever for the refund ???? Customer has to call up the yatra customer care number and BEG.. literally BEG for the money.. they don’t really care about your money... you call them up again and again and ask for money, if you get it... its your FATE.


I WILL SHARE MY EXPERIENCE IN THE FORM OF FAQ’s WITH YATRA.COM.

HOW MANY TIMES DOES ONE HAS TO CALL UP YATRA.COM TO COLLECT THE REFUND ?


Answer: Minimum 5 to Unlimited times (Till you get your money)


WHAT IS THE WAIT TIME TILL YOU REACH A CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE ON PHONE ?


Answer: 10 Mins to 20 Mins (5 Mins if there is low call volume)


IS THE NUMBER TOLL FREE ?


Yatra.com Answer: NO WAY - Sir are you kidding :) everytime standard STD charges apply. (5 times follow up means 20 mins on each call - i.e. 100-200 rupees on calling per week, you are gone if you are calling from US. Bye Bye)


Y==ATRA.COM, WHAT IS THE USUAL TURN-AROUND TIME FOR REFUND ? ==*


Answer: Sir, its 3 days or (72 hours) officially. But usually it takes around 30 days for the refund to be credited back in reality. That too if you are lucky. If you not then keep calling the customer care and continue to follow up. Our customer care executives are trained to listen to the customer calling for refund. We just simply - KEEP ON HOLD and then HANG UP the call.


PS – Friends and readers, I was very calm and cool with the customer care executives. I dont believe in shouting on phone.


==YATRA.COM, WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO TALK TO SUPERVISOR ? ==*


Answer: Sir, we do not have supervisor funda, Usually we hang up when someone insists for supervisor. But if the other person is too strong, its pretty normal that we ask another agent to take the call and act as supervisor.


We understand customer psychology very well, we know after waiting for sometime customer himself will hang up, after all he is the one who is paying for the phone call.


==AFTER YOU BOOK THE TICKET IN HOW MUCH TIME YOU GET YOUR E-TICKET ? ==*


Answer: Sir, it all depends on YOU, how soon you call us, you would need to call us and follow up for the e-ticket. If you follow up, you will get it, if you dont, God save you.


==IS THERE IS A GUARANTEE THAT AFTER PAYING I WILL GET MY FLIGHT E-TICKET. ==*

Answer:  No sir, we take the money usually from people’s bank accounts and credit cards and then try if we have the ticket or not. If we have it, we will book it for you. If we don’t, we will ask you to pay for the higher fare. If you are ok, then we will book it, if not, then we will refund the money back, timeframe for which is mentioned above.


So friends, if you have booked a ticket on Yatra.com, god saves you. Only thing that you can do is – STOP BOOKING FROM YATRA.COM IN FUTURE, IF YOUR MONEY IS STUCK, ITS STUCK FOREVER.


YOU WOULD KEEP CALLING THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR ENDLESS NUMBER OF TIMES, they will say your refund is under process. I do not have any patience to call them again, I just hope and pray I will get my refund back.


But Yes, I can write notes like this and help others, so that they don’t loose their money. APPLY your mind people, think about the points I made above. This is pretty normal, I have decided I will NEVER EVER BOOK WITH YATRA.COM again.


Issue –* Waiting for refund, plus customer care refused to add 750 rupees in the refund ( loss to be Bourne by Yatra.com) which was promised to me at the time of booking.
