Team Yatra,
Thanks for confirming that how yatra cheats people and spoils their holiday trip. I am feeling very sad and at the same time very frustrated and angry to express that Yatra ruined my holiday. I never expected, I would in so much of trouble via Yatra booking. Please read my email very carefully and keep your self in my shoe and understand the pain I have gone through.
Below are list of concerns and things which caused my holiday a spoiler by Yatra
Day 1- Reached Port blair all went well. The local tour co-ordinator did not plan my trip as per itenrany. Only light and cound snow was taken care of. Cellular jail is out of the plan. It was moved to Monday, and even if I said Monday is closed, they still moved it to Monday and I could not cover the Cellular jail.
Day 2 - Reached Havelock, It was hard to find the yatra people to get a cabb which would take me to the hotel. Same day, by God grace got the vehicle checked in to hotel and went for Radha nagar beach. While return, there was no cab, called yatra 2-3 times and got the cab after a wait time of one and half hour, where I was promised to have a dedicated cab by Yatra.
Day 3- I did not got the cab at all to travel to elephant beach nor to Kala patthar beach, I waited for around 3-4 hours to get a cab and nothing came. I called yatra team 3-4 times, you can check the call logs, there was no help. I called Vicky(Local tour guide provided by Yatra), called Durgeshm Called Ajit but till 6pm I did not got any cab.
The same day I lost my travel to Elephant beach and Kala patthar beach. I had to spend and waste my whole day staying in the hotel doing nothing. Due to this my photo shoot was also lost.
Day 4- Returned from havelock to Port blair, after I reached hotel, seems there was not room booked for me. Called Yatra and I had to wait for 2 hour to get the room. This was ridiculous and frustrating.
After all the above incidents going on with me, I called yatra emergency and spoke to Vikash, spend my 1 hour explaining the situtation and problems I had gone through. As per to his promise, he mentioned he would take action and call me back in some time. I reached bangalore there is no call back from him
When I called Yatra, and told about the issue, all the executives on call, said the issue is created by local tour guide, as Yatra we cant do much. All the executives keep on telling me we will fix your issue, and we will give you a call back, nothing happenend. I ahve spent my 70% of time calling yatra to help me, but no help, Yatra made me feel helpless.
I had paid a huge amount of 74k for enjoyment not for me to follow up, take the pain, make my family suffer where they are supoosed to enjoy not suffer. I have lost my faith, hope and I would put all these feedback, comments where ever possible to make sure people never book through you. Nor my any family member and friends.
I want action to be taken for all those people who were involved with me over the call, via email and my Yatra travel manager as they did not took the call when I asked.
Note - There has been network issue, I agree at Havelock, but if a commitment has been given to me physically and personally should have to be taken care of, which did not happen.
I want refund as I had to spend money from my pocket to get my trip done. Even after paying a huge amount to Yatra.
Finally, I am sad, to say Team Yatra, you are the worst travel arranger ever I meet.
