I have booked one ticket on Date: 3/15/2012 10:56:45 PM, Yatra booking ref no. 9133175 to travel from Vishakhapatnam to Chennai for 8th July, 2012. Due to some personal problem I cancelled the ticket on 5th July, 2012 and came by Air India on 10 July. I requested the refund on the same day, by stating that, I have cancelled the credit card, from where I booked the ticket. They told me to send the copy of cancellation of the card, along with authorization letter of your other bank account, signed by the bank manager. As per their suggestion, I provided the cancellation confirmation copy of credit card and authorization letter of the bank, where my salary account is credited (Canara bank) after one week.
When I called to know the refund status, the customer support informed, they are now processing to refund by cheque and he asked my confirmation postal address. But still today (28 July 2012), there is no respond from the Yatra support.
First they told to refund by my other bank account, than by cheque, than what will they tell I dont know.
What a unprofessional Customer support, I cant belief. Today, the reply of customer support is coming(after my call), I will check about your refund status, and let you know after 2 hours.
My am totally fed up with them, and the YATRA support.
