Yeh meri life hai ... it is like my life too .Pooja(protagonist of the serial) entered into st. martin’s with only one dream .. studying and studying ... ’’film course join karna’’ . she got 85% in higher secondary ... all match with me, my dream ... I think with our dream of that age , coming from a middle class family where there is always money vs dream conflicts.
Pooja is very obedient girl, so simple but she has a dream of her own .. to be a film director like karan zohar. She was brought up with this dream, but carefully hiding it from his father, mainly. Let us introduce to Pooja’s family
Pooja’s Mom : she is so lovely and caring. and the role is nicely played by the actress(i dont know her name but saw her in some more serials) She is the greatest support for her children and at the same time cautious about her husband’s feelings. I like the scene most when she scolded Puja’s Bua for creating problems. I was really waiting for this moment!!
Pooja’s pappa Pooja’s father seems to be the obstacle for pooja ... everytime he finds out the negative sides But actually he loves his children very much (which we knew from the yesterday’s episode) though he has somewhat conservative ideology .. he doesnt like his son cooking, wants his daughter’s safe and quick marriage life ... all these seems normal for a middle class family head. Though we want he would be more friendly to his children than to be only the father.
Pooja’s Bapuji I like this grandfather of pooja ... he not only gives Gandhiji’s advice but also give active support to catch the liar groom of Pooja’s sis ... that’s really cool .... 3 cheers for bapuji
Punima and Poresh: Pooja’s immediate elder sis and younger brother. Poresh loves to cook and Poornima loves to watch serials which are not liked by pappa and mom, respectively . but they keep doing these . they r members of the Pooja family.
Prerna & jigneshkumar pooja’s elder sis and jijaji. They came in some episodes. Prerna has a common prob with mother-in-law .. jigneshkumar is caring and sometimes confused ..... may be they will come later again.
With this nice family Pooja aquires the courage to take the side of truth always and she has ’’Mandy’’ with her always....
Mandy Mandeep .. Pooja’s altime partner , neighbour .. ’’jaha pooji paji woha mandy paji’’ .. mandy loves to eat .. specially ’’rajmukh chaol’’ .. sweet ... caring for Pooja ... sometime intelligent ( when she makes the copy of drama certificate for Pooja ) , sometimes stupid (when she lost the money) But I like Mandy and really like her support for Pooja ... real frndship .. and she also has her own personality .. and yes mandy is ’’bold’’ too ... she showed real courage by dancing on the stage after those insults of Annie.
Pooja’s Neighbour Mandy’s parents and that neighbour boy(I just foget the name) .. all are real helpful and humane.
Now come to the challenging part of Pooja’s life ... her college
Akash: He is intelligent, indeed. looks smart .. and he also has come from a middle class family ... a real frnd of pooja and mandy in the challenging start of college ... but his character is not so wel developed .. sometimes it seems he feels for Pooja but not yet identified ...
Reema: reema .. a friend in need a friend in deed .... little helpless ...just opposite to pooja in the sense she have no caring family... but too caring about pooja’s frndship
Ronit: Ronit ... seems gentle but spoiled and playing a negative role though at present acting to be a fan of Pooja .. her loyalty..
Annie & Kushan awful!! always making plans to insult Pooja .. negative roles
Pooja is intelligent enough to overcome all the problems created by those enemies in disguise of friends. But sometimes, she takes too much time and sometimes acts foolishly(gave the bag of 20, 000 Rs to Mandy) Bikram Sisr new teacher .. seems interesting and seems (may be it seems to me) .. he grows attraction to Pooja !!! lets keep on watching yeh meri life hai ...
