Worst of new generation Ecommerce sites

I have been a regular online shopper for some time now. Started with Rediff / Ebay.in but found them useless with no quality control or directly responsibility for products.


Then came the second wave of ecommerce in India and sites like Myntra, FirstCry etc impressed me with professionalism and quality products. Few weeks back, I tried my luck and ordered a Saree for my wife worth over 6000/- but got me for under 5000/- using some coupons.


When I got the saree in hand, it turned out to be a major disappointment. It was nothing like the product I saw on site. The color was different and it looked cheap.


But what happened next was even worse. I started getting spam messages from Yebhi, up to 8 messages per day, even though I was registered with DND for a long time. Complained to the customer service and they offered to remove me from the list and needed two days.


It has been 4 days since I complained and I keep in receiving spam. Sometimes even at mid night. With 3-8 messages per day, this has been making fun of all the regulations that are in place.


I am in process of complaining to my service provider. I would like to use this opportunity to warn any potential customers from keeping away from this spammers who have no ethics or respect for the law.


To theMouthshut management - this is a serious review and I can provide proof of purchase / spam SMS I received. I am  really pissed of with their aggression and want people to read and lean from my experience.
