Yeh Faasley is a wonderful movie with a good storyline and brilliant performances, this sentence would not be complete without mentioning the name of Anupam Kher whose performance is the backbone of the movie.
The thriller manages to entertain and hold your attention throughout and specially so in the second part.
Coming to the story, the movie is about Mr: Devendra Dua(Anupam Kher) and his daughter Arunima Dua who comes to live with her father after completing her education. She then comes to know more about her father and starts questioning herself if her father was the same person that she believed to be? Is he a good person? Is he a criminal? A Murderer? Are the proofs that she gets against him true? What should she do now? and so on.
The rest of the movie is about how Arunima gets to know the truth behind her father and what is the truth? which is better seen in the movie than in a review.
The philosophical/moral takeaway for me from this movie is quite paradoxical "What you believe to be true need not always be true! But if you follow what you believe to be true then you will get to know the truth."
