This movie continues the trend set by dil chahta hai but is also inspired by kaante and mere yaar ki shaadi hai(take a hollywood plot and adapt it 2 indian tastes).
i watched this movie in friday night show in chanakya( a really cool old movie hall) delhi with my friends. it is a paisa vasool movie but a movie that you may not see twice or thrice. the plot is basically of coming of age and a bit bold by indian standerds coz it mentions the S(ex) word quite openly with out making any bones about it. the new comer cast acts well and is fresh. the music superb.
some of the scenes 2 are good. but some are tacky. and the ending seems a bit hurried. I for definitely liked ap’s ending better. but u can not have everything. over all a good release when you really do not have any other bollywood movies.

the movie has 4 friends(johny rahul bunty ranjit)instead of dch’s 3 who want to get rid of their virginity . so they set out on course each moving according 2 his own but also trying together sometimes .ultimately they all manage to get with in striking distance of it but 3 are already in love and the 4th sex manic bunty gets his heart desire. the college is quite cool.and there is a bit of realistic touch 2 in scenes and dialogues.but several scenes are a straight lift off from ap. it wud have been better had hansal mehta just took the theme and wrote a fresh story for the script loosens especially in the second half. so teens go see it if only for a sense of deja vu of seeing a bit of ur story on screen
