Rainbow resort is located deep in the forest tucked further inside the mountain. The stay in the resort was an un-forgettable experience as the hosts have made arrangements for excellent accommodation whit all convenience. The toilets were modern with hot and cold water. We were really pampered by our hosts. Dinner was served by the born fire which we ordered from Hotel Hills as we learnt that the prepration would take 2 hours. The night sky was very clear and we could watch the stars.
In the morning we went for a trek along with the other families who stayed in the resort, which was well organized by the resort deep into the forest, which was breath taking. The smell of fresh eucalyptus was just what was needed to take a break from all the pollution we breathe in Bangalore.
The drive to Yelagir form Bangalore was superb. The roads are very well done, even the road up the hill saw suprisingly nice to drive on. We harldy felt tired driving from Bangalore.
