I have opened the account in yes bank 2 years ago, but had to close it as I didnt took the debit card as I wanted to park my extra fund for better interest.
I was totally dependent on online banking. but to my surprise, I could hardly use their online banking. because of following reasons-
Their website was extremely slow.
Also they expire the online password every 3 months, without any notice or email. For reactivation every time I have to visit their branch.
After 2-3 expire and long process of getting new password I have decided to withdraw all my money and close the account.
Now-
When I visited the sector 11 Panchkula branch, the manager their misguided by saying account will be auto closed in 3 months if I withdraw all my money.
now in 2 years, still account is not closed and my balance is increasing negative every quarter.
Since I have shifted to other city, I cant close the account as I have to visit home branch( what this shit?)
Again-
in 2015 I thought they might have improved their process and opened another account in sector 11 Panchkula branch.
Within 2-3 days I realized nothing has changed and still bank services has detoriated and I decided to close the account
I went to branch for closure, first of all the person sitting their refused to close the account.
more surprising out of 3 people in the branch none of them knew how to close the account and said one person who is one leave can close the account.
I asked to give me in written, and after wasting my 1 hour the beautiful lady took the application and said my account will be closed in 3 days.
still after 10 days my account is not closed.
So better dont go to Yes bank and say big NO to them.
