H. R. Policy alone is biggest & serious concern.

You can reach me at sewagecleaner@gmail.com. Banking and financial services industry is inefficient and has problems world over.

Yes bank is actually a better bank among all the other banks... as far it’s other business practices are concerned.  Actually, Yes Bank, Kotak Bank, IndusInd Bank & Federal Bank stand out among all the other banks for being more business, customer and stakeholder focussed. However, the recruitment policy of Yes Bank leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, nepotism is the order of the day in Yes Bank as well. Yes bank has somehow merged back office with their front office and kept back office operations minimum. That is certainly a great achievement.

I had applied for a job at Yes Bank. The Human Resource department of Yes bank s@&@#. Actually, this is only the unfortunate part I have noticed so far. The management of yes bank needs to keep costs low. However, the Personal and Operations department of Yes Bank achieve this objective by indulging in absolute discrimination.

In Yes Bank there are 3 classes of employees :

  1. The super elite management class.

  2. The elite management class.

  3. The junior officer or assistant manager class who are actually the worker class. Actually this class is paid enough to do all the dirty work and yet not complaint at all times. If this class complaints they have such poor skills that they are almost unemployable.

Dhanlaxmi Bank had a infallible reputation ... However, nepotism, horrible equation with internal customer’s(employees) led to the inevitable.. downfall. That need not necessarily happen with Yes Bank.  Yes Bank is well placed and is on a better trajectory. However, such a downfall was equally unbelievable in case of Dhanlaxmi Bank at least certainly not while it was on top of every investors stock picking list.

I agree that the public sector banks and Bank P.O. exams are most absurd and non objective. I agree that the leading private sector banks have perfected the art of making mediocrity the cornerstone of their business. However, an upcoming or a fairly new bank like Yes bank needs and must be forced to break this tradition and certainly not stoop to the same level as the large private sector banks at such a lightning speed. Actually Yes Bank never had a transparent personal policy so far. Now it has tied up with naukri. However, the whole process is still not good enough and is actually as horrible as before.

Dear Yes Bank,

After you recent public relations fiasco involving one of your promoters wife it seems you folks are interested in course correct.

However, the more some things change the more the look the same.

EOD, truth lies somewhere in the middle.   If your ideas are the sames as mine perhaps I can join hands with you to raise the bar of banking business and shake-up the pecking order of banking sector.  I understand this is a highlt monotonous business.   I don’t actually fir it.   However, being what I am I could be great asset after all you badly need to present yourself as GenNext bank.
