True Story of A Patient who suffered.

The admitted female patient in Sept. 2022 is one 48 year old with the history of obesity, high blood pressure, low oxygen concentration and diabetes with regular medication, often with oxygenation and bi-pap support at night and a regular visitor to the same private hospital for over several years. The attendant is a 78 year old retired official from a GOI Undertaking, and living with a centurion old aged grandmother. The patient’s was suffering from acutely low oxygen concentration, tiredness and body pain and had a few bouts of loose motion at the stage of admission. After Initial testing and treatments in the ward, stating that the patient was not responding to basic treatment, she was shifted to ICU after introducing Catheter by the duty nurse., Even though the duty nurse was notified by the patient, that it is causing pricking sensation and pain, the same was ignored by her telling everything is in order, Due to which Urine Passing practicallly stopped, creating further Urinary complications and infections in the ICU. Even though the Patient was responding to the treatments in ICU, on the 2nd night at ICU stomach started blouting as urine had not been passed since over 48 hours and there was no one to attend the ICU Patients till untill this perticular patient due to unbearable pain took open the NIV-Mask and threw it drawing the attention of duty nurse. Upon removing the catheter in the mid night, it was noticed that there was heavy urine collection along with blood, pus and heavy infection in urinary track. Over and above this trouble, patient’s care giver was forced to sign the documents for shifting patient to ventilator(by the hospital owner & management doctors), even when patient was responding very well to the treatment in ICU. It was purely the smart thinking and smart treatment by the consulting pulmonologist, along with attending duty doctors and duty nurse, that the condition improved, following which 3 days later the patient was shifted back to twin sharing ward and discharged 2 days Later.

Patient and the care giver(a senior citizen aged 78 yrs0 had to go through a sever physical, mental and emotional trauma in this hospital due to Money Mindedness shown by few a owners & management doctors of this hospital along with reckless and careless attitude by a few nursing staffs working here.

We would personally recommend everyone to BE CAREFUL, Knowledgable about medical conditions, required treatments when taking services in MONEY MINDED HOSPITALS of Namma Bengaluru.
