While moving my office from one location to another in Vadodara, I chose YouTele to provide broadband services to in the location.
I am a project manager so I tried to time the whole thing in a way so that we are not without internet service for no more than the day of the moving.
Today is the second day and still no internet yet.
The reason I want to alert all consumers is this.. YouBroadband seems to follow an SOP that ensures that the consumer is kept in dark all the time.
Step 1: One of their executive comes to ask for payment. The person who gets the payment has no authority to do anything but is going to make any type of "unofficial" claims so that he gets paid.
Step 2: Once the payment has been made, it takes them at least 7 days to create account.
Step 3: During this time, suddenly one person shows up, who by the way has no clue on what all has happened on the account, to draw cable.
Step 4: Couple of days later, if you are lucky, someone comes to connect the modem.
All above steps take somewhere between 10-12 days. All during this time, you are told wonderful stories of how the person left a while back to come to your office etc.. Twice I was told that the engineer is leaving right now. When the person did not show up after 2nd day, I called police to check if there were any reported accidents :)..
I am going to be there customer for next 3 months since I have paid for it. If due to this review, I am victimized, I intend to start a facebook page called "YouTeleSucks".. Folks.. stay tuned..
