I had subscribed for 200 mbps broadband service from YOU broadband on 26th Feb and paid fot it upfront. With lot of followup, the connection was given on 6th March. The person who gave the connection said that the max speed possible is only 100 mbps and NOT 200 mbps. However the connection given also was not working.
I have made more than 10 complaints to You broadband, written to their Head office, Nodal Officer, Apellette Authority, but even after almost a month, I still have a non-working connection.
A speed test conducted showed a speed of less than 16 mbps.
You broadband is cheating consumers like me by collecting charges for 200 mbps service and provide a lower speed, that too which is not working. the physical connection had been provided, the wifi connection shows it is active, but no website loads. Even trying to access youbroadband.com results in timeout error. A simple site like google itself does not load(if I clear the cache). trying to access yahoo mail shows "no internet connection". When I tried to download a file of 2mb, it took more than 30 minutes, but still did not download.
Even to send complaints to You broadband about its non-working service, I had to user other service providers service.
Everytime I give a complaint, I get a standard message that it will be attended to within 4 to 8 working hours. Even with multiple escalations, no one had turned up to attend to the problem, nor the problems solved remotely.
Even the mails to the Nodal Officer were not responded to, nor even an acknowledgement or case number, which is to be provided by the nodal officer. You broadband is turning a blind eye on the problems faced by the customer.
Practically a non-existing near zero speed service is provided by You broadband with a promise of 200mbps. broadband service.
This is a blatant cheating by You broadband.
