Worst service ever

I’ve been using this service for around 3 months now.


My first impressions: I applied for the 50mbps/100gb plan online and the field engineer came and laid the wires on a fine day. Although he promised the connection would be active in a day, it was not activated for many days afterwards. Then it was only activated after a week later. I realized at that point, what a pathetic service I’ve subscribed myself into. But I couldn’t do much then as I had already paid for the initial month and I had no other choice but to try the connection.


But even the quality of the connection was really pathetic too and it would get disrupted at least once a day. Sometimes the connection can entirely go down and sometimes, it won’t be back for several days together. The customer care doesn’t have a toll free number. I’ve wasted more than 50 rupees calling and lodging complaints about their services to their customer care. They would make a lot of false promises and try to pacify us everytime we call them and yet, nothing much ever happens after that. I was once told that an engineer was assigned to my issue and he would look into it. But even several days after that, my internet was not fixed and there was no trace of that engineer. Then after 4 days I got a call that the internet was fixed. But no compensation or apologies.


Even the speed of the connection was always much lesser than promised. For the past 3 months, Whenever I tested it, I got only around 10 to 20mbbs whereas I’m supposed to be getting 50mbps.


I had to write emails and fight with their customer care for the days I spent without internet. Then after many days, I was given an additional 6 days of internet as compensation and I’ve not renewed my connection ever since. Currently I’m using You broadband on those 6 days of internet given to me. But even on these days, my internet is so unstable and I have to reset my router every now and then to get internet access. So I’ve just applied for ACT broadband using this very last few days of You broadband and also writing a review with it too.
