I live in Pimple Saudagar and like a lot of SE’s here, work in Hinjewadi in an IT company. I wanted a broadband line and thought You broadband would be nice. I was wrong. The broadband line was quickly installed and started working in a week or so but then the problems started. It is highly unreliable. I work for a US client and have late night weekly meetings. There has not been a single day when I was able to sit at home and take the call since the internet would be down. It is a living proof that Murphy’s laws work. The customer care is absolutely pathetic and more bad is their tech team.
It has been more than a week now that I am following up with them for internet connectivity. Last Tuesday (3rd Sept) they said they had a fiber cut and everyday, depending on the time of your call, you will be told that the problem will get fixed by 12PM or 5PM.
Also, this is not the first time they have had a one week + outage. It is very frustrating and traumatic.
To add insult to injury when we call them up and ask for refund we are told there will be none but they will add the number of days when the service was not available if you apply for it. As if not giving service that we paid for was not enough now we have to apply for refund (of days) that we deserve.
This is one truly Indian company which believes in milking the customer to the max.
If you live a happy life with all the comforts and do not know what mental trauma is or can be.... I dare you to try You Broadband.
