I opted for youbroadband subscription for 6 months in Defence Colony, Hyderabad. First of all, the technician didn’t come to setup the connection. I had to constantly call them up and after 6–7 days I got the connection.
After the setup, the Internet wasn’t consistent. I have raised service requests, the technician comes, says its fixed, and after that the internet use to come for an hour or two and again no internet service. This continued for 2-3 service requests. So, I told the technician I won’t close the ticket now, I will observe for 48 hours and then close. But after 24 hours, the service request was closed without informing me nor taking OTP from me. I really don’t understand how the service request was closed. If the technician or some employee of youbroadband can close the service requests on their own without checking with the customer if the issue was resolved or not, then what is the point of even having service requests.
Next, the internet service is never stable. I really don’t understand what the issue is with youbroadband. I have subscribed to different Internet Service providers but hardly faced this problem. I browse for 3 min and 4th min the internet is down. I would say a very disappointing internet service. I conveyed the same to technician Ramesh, technical manager Anjaneyulu, and manager Santosh, but none of them could resolve the issue and address my concern. They aren’t sure what the issue could be. It’s been almost a month I took the connection and not even for 24 hours the internet was stable.
Please don’t waste your time and money by taking youbroadband. I didn’t see the reviews on quora before opting for the service and I completely regret it. I wouldn’t want anyone else to make such bad decision and struggle through like me. At the first place, they are inefficient in providing service and in the second place, worst customer service. Never opt for youbroadband. Act fibernet is the best service provider I have come across. Now I have two connections, one from the act and one from youbroadband as youbroadband just takes money and neither provides service nor returns the amount accepting their inefficiency.
