What a wonderful life I have had …..I only wish I had realized it sooner……..
The above statement is felt at least once by each one of us….few of us get a chance to actually realize it……..and fewer of us actually realize it at the right time….because they get a chance to live through that period which makes them aware of their present…their near and dear ones…….
Today I am going to write about a movie I watched long before on Disney Channel…..the name of the movie was You Wish.
Actually I am not going to think a lot about what to write…because I had written the story in my diary, as I liked it very much and now I am just going to copy it down ….so all of you are going to read some pages of my private diary :-P….

hi diary…..today I am going to write the story of movie named “You Wish”…I watched it today in the evening….
This is a story of a young fellow named Alex and his younger brother Stevie….Alex is almost 5/6 years older to than Stevie.
Alex always gets scolded because of Stevie’s mischief. So he always wants to get rid of his younger brother but at the same time he loves and cares for Stevie very much.
Alex has 2 best friends, James & Abby (aka Abs – a girl). In his school he plays for the football team but he is not a good player. Actually his parents cant afford him going to a football camp for practice. Had he been a single child then he would have done everything he wanted.
He has a crush on the most beautiful girl of his school - Fiona , but she is least interested in him and she is the girlfriend of the football team captain who happens to be the most proud boy and teases Alex very much. At the same time Abby has a crush on Alex but neither she expresses it nor Alex can ever feel it!!
Alex has a hobby of coin collecting.
One day Stevie finds a coin from a man, which happens to be a wish coin!! That night Alex is severely scolded and punished by his parents due to Stevie’s another mischief. So he scolds Stevie and locks himself in his room. Stevie, feeling sorry, writes a letter telling everything about the coin and passes the letter along with the coin under the door of Alex’s room. Alex reads the whole letter but he does not believe about the coin and being frustrated just wishes that if he had not had any younger brother and goes to sleep.
The next day he wakes up only to find out that everything has been changed starting form his room to his life. He finds so many trophies having the name of him written on them. His parents are very rich and there is no Stevie in his life anymore.
When he goes to school, again there are lots of surprises for him………he is the captain of the school football team and Fiona is his girlfriend. He has everything he had wished for. But at the same time James and Abby, his best buddies hate him like hell. They don’t remember anything except that they hate him.
He soon starts feeling very lonely, missing his friends and above all his cute little brother Stevie!! Then suddenly he finds out that Stevie, in his new life, is a famous child actor. Alex meets him somehow and convinces him and Abby about what had happened, as they don’t seem to remember anything. They search for the wish coin together, but they can’t find it.
He comes back to his home and Stevie goes away. Alex feels very bad. Then his father comes and gives him a box of coins as a gift. Surprisingly he finds the same wish coin in that box and then …………he wishes that……..if he had not wished what he had wished earlier!!!
Then to his utter surprise everything comes back to normal again. He finds back his previous life along with his best friends and his beloved younger brother. He gets back to the life without any fame, but still he feels as if he is at the top of the world!!
now what I felt…….
Well truly speaking, I am missing my elder brother too much and that’s why I thought of writing this review. This movie shows how one does not feel the importance of the people around him until and unless he looses them. Everybody does not get a chance to get them back….but is it really required to get a chance to loose them and find them once again? Is it possible that we will also get them back as Alex did? I don’t think so ……..so why do we always wait for a chance to love our near and dear ones……we know we love them and still we deny….its our bad luck….
I don’t know what you felt about the story…but I am going to e-mail this page to my brother and I am dedicating this review to him….I just hope that he gets time to read it!!!
