As unsuspecting and desperately in need of a good creche, parents of 1.5yrs old, we enrolled our daughter to YKROK, e-city. Little did I know that it wont even last for 2 weeks.I just couldnt bear it.
We enrolled our daughter to YKROK, e-city branch and paid the entire 3months fee in advance as per the’company’ policy.Since we didint have any corporate tie-ups.we did end up paying a lot.anyways all I was looking for was a good and caring atmosphere.all those marketing talks put us on rest.they assured us that the kid will settle down within 2 weeks time.so far so good.
1st day when I accompanied her to YKROK.obviously she was not comfortable with the untrained teachers who did absolutely nothing to put her at ease.Secondly the rhymes they were singing were wrong.they couldnt even sing Twinkle Twinkle properly.2 teachers didnt even know proper english.
During meal times I noticed.they expect kids even toddlers to eat by themselves.All they did was to ask the kids if they wanted some more.Now how is it possible to answer this for an 1.5yr kid? She has to be a genius isnt it.Turns out my kid is not.as a result she went hungry.
Secondly.all they served during those 2 weeks were chappatis with curd and khichdi.it’s difficult for toddlers to chew chappatis specially given that principal food in my home is rice.the khichdi they prepared was devoid of any veggies.my daughter survived on the biscuits and bananas I sent from home.
I used to be with her for 2-3 hrs.then finish some work.whenever you call them up.they wud say that the kid is doing fine.had meals.blah, blah.all lies!
On bringing up all these issues to the notice of the management.they didnt have any convincing answer.neither did they take any measure to rectify.
My daughter used to cry the whole time.no sleeping.no eating.nothing.otherwise my cheerful daughter became morose, dull, aloof and cranky. I almost brought her home everyday by mid-day from the school.it was pathetic!
One fine day when my hubby got her from day care in the evening.1st day that I left her in their care for the whole day.she had come home with a swollen cheek. On inquiring, the teachers just blurted that nothing happened in the school.How the hell then did her cheeks swell?
The same night she developed fever.sick for almost 3 weeks.That was the last day that I sent her to YKROK.They didnt return any money as against the company policy.
I wish to meet the owners some day and give them a pc of my mind.Curse them actually from the core of my heart. The centre manager Juhi is utterly useless.all they are doing is minting money by exploiting the helplessness of working parents who live in nuclear families.
I am still searching for a good day-care in e-city but very weary.I promised myself after YKROK not to trust anybody or any institution so easily as far as my daughter’s safety is concerned.All that glitters is definitely not gold!
PLEASE DON’T RISK YOUR KIDS TO YKROK, E-CITY. THEY ARE PATHETIC, UNTRAINED! STILL IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE YOUR KIDS WITH THEM.DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
