Yousuf Youhana has now made his spot in the Pakistan team permanent. He has the ability to bat from the number three slot all the way down to number 7. Anything beneath this would be making a mockery of his talent.
Although Youhana may not have gained a reputation as big as Laras, Tendulkars or Waughs, he in amongst them. Youhana is the mainstay in a rather weak batting line-up, especially when it is compared to those of Australia and India. Youhana has rescued Pakistan many a time. His efforts are numerous, yet he is only 28. He plays every shot according to the text book.
Youhana, in ODIs settles in very quickly. He usually keeps it to only singles, then once he gets passed the 25-30 run mark he picks up the rate. He then transfers to the twos and odd boundary. But once someone like Razzaq or Latif comes. Youhana either explodes himself, or he allows the runner to explode. When they do pick up the boundaries it seems that they are programmed into only 6s
mode.
Youhana is without any doubt the best Pakistani batsman. Inzi and Saeed have gone passed their best.
Youhana has a great mantle. That is why he averages well above 40.00 in test and One dayers. Youhana is very underated.
