I have taken a 12Mbps connection from You Tele 7 days back . I can connect to this only through my iMac and there is now way to connect to an iPad or phone wirelessly since they support only ethernet / dialup connection for non unlimited plans . This was never told to me before booking the connection . However that is not the main problem .
Since first day I am getting very low speeds compared to the promised speed . I also have a 2Mbps Tikona connection . I was downloading files through that and was getting speeds of around 2Mbps . However downloading the same file from You Tele gave me speeds of 1 - 1.5 Mbps . I did many speed tests and they varied from 0.5 Mbps download speeds to 4 Mbps download speeds .
I have complained 3 times for the lower speeds but no one has cared to call back . I was so frustrated by this attitude of the customer care that I asked for refund . As per their policy they do not refund the amount even if they are not providing me the promised service . I banged down the phone after calling them thieves . I am sure there will never be any resolution of the problem since I have heard from my friends also about their poor service . Just waiting for the 3 months to end so that I can return the router and get my deposit back .
Never ever take a you tele connection .
