This is my first but reliable review on the Internet service provider You telecom from bangalore in banashakari area.I
availed for this connection on the month od december 2009 on the 13th.... a bad move on my part.Their representative said he would be here to collect the payment and deposit at the earliest.He reached my house on the same day I called him for the connection.I asked him the details of the connection like the speed I could expect practically and stuff like that.
He said it was a adsl 2+ connection and I could get a download speed of 55kbps.I thought I had bagged a good deal for a monthly price of 855/- The initial payment I made was 1906/- of which 500/- a deposit charge and 855/- was the advance payment bill for a month(My selected plan was unlimited 512 kbps).The rest was service charges.The next day the associated men came and finished the cabelling work. But little did I know that it was a cable modem connection and not an adsl router connection.I had a lot of thoughts going through my head at that time.
Whats more it required a dial up login every time I connected to the internet.At first the connection seemed proper and I could get decent speeds... but just after a few hours I was online I had to get accustomed to the frequent disconnections.And I could not even upload my files to my account on Rapidshare and megaupload website beacuse of the worst ping values.(for those who dont know what a ping is "Ping is a computer network administration utility used to test whether a particular host is reachable across an Internet Protocol (IP) network").
See the pictures above they explain everything in detail about the speed and ping tests online.Also since its a cable modem , a wireless cable modem costs 2500 /- which is a hefty price to pay for an outdated modem.Conclusion :Lower price than the rest of the ISP’s but worst service and connect ability, but reliable speeds only on downloading not uploading.Avoid at all costs.
