When I enquired about the service I was told I can take shared modem or dedicated modem but dedicated modem will give better speed. I decided to go for it. I had to pay some deposite money to get the dedicated money. I was told that it will be refundable.
I used this service for more than a year. I usually didnt get much problem with speed or connectivity. Couple of times when I encountered some problem, customer service did solve it.
3 months back when I decided to move out of Pune, I had requested for disconnection. My validity got over on Thursday. Friday was bank holiday and I was leaving Pune on Saturday. I had requested customer center to send someone to collect the modem on Saturday morning. But they couldnt arrange it.
That time I was told that I can leave the modem with my neighbours, they will collect it later and send me my deposite to my new city address by cheque. I believed this and left the modem with my house owner. They collected the modem in next 2-3 days from my owner. But I never got the cheque back.
I called the customer care 8-10 times. Everytime they took my address and assured me that they will send me the cheque. I still havent got it. And the funny part is, after I disconnected the service, they took my modem and I was asking them for my deposite back, for next 10-15 days I was getting calls from their sales executive that my validity is over and if I want to renew the connection. I ultimately stopped calling the customer care center cause it was useless.
