Unless u want to get cheated of your hard earned money don’t even think of going to these folks. They suck big time. This I can tell you even without having a single day’s connection. Goaded by their advertisements and their website I did one of the worst mistakes of calling up their helpline to order a connection. I can’t tell you how pleasant the person on the other end was in talking to me and explaining the details. Unfortunately that was the last time I had a pleasant conversation with anyone at YouTelecom. I had to call the marketing/sales guy five times to have him turn up at my house.
I really started to have doubts regarding the service provider but still went on, the guy came down to my house suggested the plans and promised connection the very next day if the advance is paid now. I duly paid him 400/- in cash so they don’t have any issues with clearence of cheques. Then started the trouble. For the next one month I called EACH and EVERY DAY - their sales guy, their customer support - asking them the status, everyone promised it the next day or "Surely" in a day or two.
Finally after a month of wasting on sweet phone calls I got ready to confront the customer care guy with all the trouble I was going through. I asked him if he could connect me to someone senior guy in the company and to my utter shock I get a response saying he is the guy responsible for everything - what the heck, was I talking to the CEO. He just wouldn’t allow me to talk to anyone else. After some hard language which I had mastered by then I was able to get from him the real reason why they weren’t providing the connection. He tells me calmly that YouTelecom does not have connectivity in my area. HECK! didn’t their marketing guy know about this before he "Promised" me connection in a day. Didn’t their customer care knew about this when I called them everyday and provided them with my address for verification each time?
Next I did the obvious and asked them for a refund of the money and he promised me it would be returned duly. I knew better of their promises now.(And they did not dissapoint me either, the money has not arrived till date, about four months have passed).
So guys anyone even thinking about YouTelecom please please refrain. They are unprofessional folks who do not know how to do business. There are better service providers around who know their job better.
