the album starts on a chauvinist mode.. with the song reckoning day is angry and provoking.. the next song train of consequences is probably the most famous song of the album addicted to chaos is about getting caught in the world of chemicals and drug abuse.. though megadeths’s style of music is to bring up all those social political issuse which has been eating up the contemporary society from its roots.. like the song family tree is all about incest listning to the song is pleasure but the lyrics will raise one’s ears
the song finally youthanasia.. is about sad .. grim present self of the youth which has been misled by peers..
the album has come up with more of social issues and is not spiritual as what some of the songs in old albums were, the songs are thrash and harsh.. but very enjoyable.. one of my favorite albums.. and I dont have to say much about megadeth and dave mustain... metallica’s loss is megadeth’s inception
