Launched in 2005 as a website to give people access to various videos, it has grown into one of the most watched online platforms. From serials to documentaries to everything.
Anybody can download or upload a video. With recent enhancements, it also gives the uploader an opportunity to earn.
In my personal experience I love watching missed serial telecasts, also love watching new movie trailers and songs. You can get videos of every genre so be it songs or animal kingdom or interviews of favourite celebs. I have watched some old good comedy shows and programs of the 90s. As a child I used to watch Heidi, and I finally got it on youtube.all of them!
My favourite channels are AIB, IISuperwomanII, thoughty2, glamrs.com, and various others.
From how to apply basic makeup to funny videos, youtube does keep you entertained.
To tell you how good is youtube, when in a town with no good access to a beauty parlour, I did a haircut for myself with the help of a youtube video. And it was pretty good:)
So how is it different from TV: Once a program is telecast on TV, it rarely shows a repeat telecast of the same. But you can watch a particular video a zillion times on youtube:)
With the lastest addition of 360°, th experience of watching videos has become even more amazing!
The UI is easy to use, so anybody the basic knowledge of internet can use it.
