YouTube is something which many of us associate as a means of entertainment say for watching songs, movie clips, TV shows that we might have missed or Yuvraj Singh’s 6 sixes in the World T-20 tournament.
In addition to all this, I would like to throw light on the usefulness of YouTube in the field of education.
Myself being a Science student, had quite a tough time in Junior College in understanding Physics and Chemistry. Physics was something which I never understood and still find it tough to understand. Whenever I used to get stuck with difficult concepts like Electromagnetism, Electrostatics and Force, it was through YouTube that I understood then clearly.
Even chemistry which was a mystery to me in Junior College, was made quite easy through the YouTube videos.
Even though I know biology so very well, there are some concepts which are made so easy and simple by the videos available on YouTube. E.g. DNA replication, Electrophoresis and many more.
Even today, being in the field of Academic Content Writing, I need the help of YouTube every now and then when I get stuck up with certain concepts.
What I feel is books only provide you with half knowledge, for further depth and conceptual clarity, you need to enter the world of YouTube.
I would conclude by saying that indeed YouTube makes the life of a student really simple and one must aptly use this technology which is available with us.
