It is good but not best

The device does not boasts any new hardware. It runs on Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and coupled with 2 GB of ram. For gaming and graphic department we get a Adreno 306 GPU. The phone is having a medium 5 inch screen size which really doesn’t seems big considering the phone releasing  now days.

The phone packs a lot of sensor like ambient light, gyro, acclerometer, orientation, magnetic, proximity, roatation vector, linear acceleration and  gravity sensor( pheww! that’s a lot) . You can see them listed in the below image of CPU-Z. Many users have been reporting the issues of proximity sensor while calling that the screen dosen’t lit up again. YU has seen the problem have claimed to fix it through next OTA update but there is now news on when the update will be rolled out.

The Benchmark scores were as follows-

Antutu Benchmark – 24000 approx

Quadrant Benchmark – 15000 approx

Vellamo – 1717( HTML 5), 641( METAL)

Nenamark 2 – 53.7 fps

Basemark OS II – 645

User Interface

As we all know the phone ships with Cyanogenmod 12 which is also the most touted feature of the phone we can expect a lot of goodies in user interface of the device. Micromax YU specially told us about a feature called App Themer that will come bundled with the device. For a closer glance at App Themer and the User Interface I will let the video talk.
